Hi
We have a number of new HP servers with the Smart Arrary P410 card controlling the hard disks - we need to create a Gold Build for these
We have no problems installing an OS, XenApp, PVS client, etc but when we try to PXE boot the machine using the Local Hard Disk - so as to pick up a vDisk to take our image - the system is unable to find the RAID array that the OS is installed on
we get the 'no bootable drives have been found or no OS.....' error
but if we set BIOS to boot from hard disk all is well
it can see the PVS servers and we can see the ARDBP33.BIN file being loaded and then the system attempting to boot from local disk but the error occurs and the boot stops.
Any clues????
Thanks
Jane

Does anyone know whether it's possible to get a key for the Smart Array Advanced Pack (SAAP) so I can enable RAID 6 on my HP P410? They made SAAP v2 free, but never did it for v1.

HP doesn't sell it anymore and the only sellers I can find are asking hundreds for it, when the card cost me £40. I know I can get a 60 day trial key, but I'm guessing that's going to be useless in the long term.
Is this classed as abandonware? In which case is there any way to generate a key for it?
